Techonology Influencing George Orwell's 1984

During the 1940's new technology was created, this most likely influenced the technology used in 1984. Such techonology includes: the radio, the computer, the camera, camecorders, the mobile phone and the hologram. Below are connections made between the technology of the 1940's and in 1984.

The Radio:It allowed anyone to listen to a broadcast audibly.

The Computer: It allowed data to be stored electronically.

The Camera: It allowed still images to be captured on film.

The Camecorder: It allowed motion images to be captured on film.

The Mobile Phone: It allowed information to be transferred audibly between two people.

The Hologram: It allowed images to be presented in 3 dimensions.
